The ideal candidate for this Senior Cyber Threat Analytics Analyst position will be an experienced professional who will be responsible for producing authoritative intelligence assessments that define cyber threats to networked global information networks including mobile platforms.
 
Responsibilities:
 
The candidate will:
·         The successful candidate should have strong technical security skills with hands-on experience. Candidate should have an understanding of increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks, hacking techniques and associated defensive techniques
·         Conduct all-source intelligence research by evaluating technical and intelligence data with specific emphasis on network/system operations and information warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures directed against international payment networks.
·         Informed and can provide subject matter expertise regarding recent hacks / exploits – especially against web applications, databases and common desktop tools
·         Maintain, develop, and continually evaluate cyber intelligence sources (technical & non-technical) to increase effectiveness and timeliness of reporting threat information.  
·         Assist the various Information Security teams such as the Investigations and Forensics team with quality research and assistance in solving complex cases. 
·         Interact and assist other investigative teams within Visa (e.g. risk) on time sensitive, critical investigations
·         Active participation in Incident Response mock scenarios for training on an annual basis
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Security
  • Possess strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability recognize and evaluate facts, objectively analyze situations, synthesize and organize data/information from multiple sources
·         Moderate to strong scripting/programming skills
  • Familiarity with malware reverse engineering and ethical hacking beneficial
  • Working knowledge and administrative experience on Windows and UNIX platforms
  • Able to draft, interpret and communicate policies, procedures and technical requirements
  • Must be both a self-starter and team player with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills,  interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively.
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines.

SAIC’s Security Operations Practice (SOP) is seeking a talented Consulting Engineer, requiring 50-75% travel, to operate within its Product Team. Primary work location is flexible within the United States. SAIC’s Security Operations Practice has been operating in commercial and federal markets for over ten years. The Consulting Engineer will travel to customer locations around the world to install, configure, troubleshoot, and customize SOP solutions. This position requires strong knowledge in network security operations and familiarity with a variety of endpoint security products. Candidates should be very experienced in network, security systems design, and deployment and troubleshooting. Primary Duties:

- Primary support for customer consulting engagements

- Test and implement new services or technologies for MSS or consulting practice.

- Provide technical solutions, documentation and support for proposals

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6+ years related experience.

· 2-3 year system administration experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows environments, especially installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

· Intermediate level knowledge of installing, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network perimeter security technologies such as firewalls, proxy servers, intrusion prevention/detection (IDS/IPS), antivirus, anti-Malware, anti-Spam and unified threat management (UTM).

· Strong networking background combined with strong security and general troubleshooting skills, methods and approach.

· Ability to program in an administrative language (Tk, Perl, VBScript, a shell).

· Interface with customer, SAIC, and partners.
